Happy first birthday to Gateway Arch National Park. Even thought the Arch has been among the most recognizable structures for more than five decades, the park formerly known as the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial was renamed on this date in 2018. (NPS Photo)

How cool would it be to have your photo used on a national park annual pass? Ask J.K. Putnam, whose photo of two owls adorned the 2019 pass for Acadia National Park.

With the creation last Friday of Indiana Dunes National Park, we were faced with a quandary: Do we add it to the book, or do we post an entry online? Considering the book had been at the printer less than 24 hours, we made the call to add it to the book. We've updated the subtitle, changed the cover, and are implementing this across all platforms.

All this with no change in the price or timing of when you'll get your book. Plus, you get a free bonus park - and one of the first books available to include Indiana Dunes. Look at you, such a trendsetter!
